The Mill House Hotel is only minutes away from some of the very best fishing in the world. The River Spey is one of the premier salmon rivers in Scotland and, during much of the season, the nearby lower beats are renowned for providing ‘fast and furious sport’.
Rising in the Crabach above Huntly, the River Deveron runs 45 miles to the Moray Firth at Banff. The total annual salmon catch is usually around the two thousand mark and the Deveron holds the record for the heaviest salmon caught on the fly in the UK at 61 lb.
